Mt Hypipamee Upper Barron is a natural wonder located in the Atherton Tablelands of Queensland, Australia.

This geological formation is a volcanic pipe and is situated within the Crater Lakes National Park. Visitors can explore the surrounding rainforest and enjoy a scenic view of the crater from a viewing platform. The volcanic pipe has a diameter of 61 metres at the water level, which is 58 metres below the platform. The crater is known for its rare and unique plant species, including primitive ferns and orchids. The forest around the crater also provides habitat for various bird species and wildlife such as possums and tree kangaroos. The best time to visit Mt Hypipamee Upper Barron is during the dry season, which runs from April to September. The dry season offers pleasant weather conditions and the lack of rainfall makes it easier to explore the surrounding rainforest. Mt Hypipamee Upper Barron is accessible by road, with the most popular route being via the Kennedy Highway. The drive takes approximately 1.5 hours from Cairns and 45 minutes from Atherton. Once at Mt Hypipamee Upper Barron car park, the walk to the crater is a short 500-metre walk through the rainforest, with directional signage on the trail.
