With old vines and mellow wines VIGENA WINES has become one of the premium wineries in the McLaren Vale region.

They have the most experienced and dedicated viticulturists in the world, they rely on them to get top quality grapes and have never been disappointed. In our vineyard, they combine biodynamic principles to maximise the quality of each fruit. Grapes grown at the winery are full bodied and structured, with crisp acidity. Following the course of nature, their hard work has finally paid off.

Back in 1908, the first vines were planted at Vigena Wines (formly known as Potters Clay vineyard) by one of the pioneers of Vigena Wines.

Over 100 years of history, generations of hard work and superb craftsmanship have made the winery magnificent. Grapes from old vines inject soul into Vigena Wines, the result is a unique wine.

Shining Shiraz, ancient Grenache, rich and complex cabernet are great gift from nature. Excellent fruits from the vineyard are hand-picked, crushed and pressed, then aged in oak barrels. At Vigena Wines, no effort is spared to achieve our ultimate goal of making every bottle of wine excellent and unique.
