Fishing enthusiasts of all levels can enjoy a day of casting a line and surrounded by the serene beauty of the Warrego River.

Wyandra Beach's beautiful natural surroundings make it an ideal location for a family picnic. The sandy shoreline and tree-lined banks of the river offer plenty of space for spreading out and enjoying the great outdoors. A bushwalking track runs along the riverbank, which makes for a leisurely stroll and taking in the breathtaking scenery of Wyandra Beach.

Wyandra Beach is a great destination to visit all year round, but the summer months (December to February) are the most popular. The warm weather makes for ideal swimming conditions, and the frequent afternoon breezes offer relief from the heat. Wyandra Beach is situated approximately 150km west of St. George and 50km east of Cunnamulla. The beach is accessible by car via a sealed road that runs off the Mitchell Highway. Visitors also have the option of travelling by bus, with a daily service that stops in Wyandra.
