Crafting awarded wines with sustainability at the forefront of each vintage, the Yarran Wines organically certified vineyards and cellar door sit proudly on the outskirts of Griffith NSW.

Yarran Wines’ mission at the time of producing their first vintage in 1998 was to showcase the region’s capabilities, unique conditions, and history. Positioning themselves as a small boutique winery in a region with an industry stigma to boot and large scale neighbours – they were often called crazy.

On top of being the tiny winery in a region of giants, they designed and built a cellar door set in our vineyards for tourists and visitors to experience the Yarran way of life, connecting their story to home. Today they can confirm they are a little crazy but continue to strive for quality, approachability, and regional recognition with each vintage.

After years of development and building, the brand has been recognised by both customers and industry as one to watch. Collecting awards and accolades by respected national critiques is equally as rewarding as seeing the wines shared and enjoyed by many who have made the trip to visit our cellar door. Proudly awarded the 2021 ‘Darkhorse Winery of the Year’ by Australian Wine Companion - the Yarran name was selected from the national pool wineries as the up and coming winery to watch. Within the same year, the cellar door was named ‘Best Cellar Door’ Riverina by Gourmet Traveller Wine and ‘The Must Visit’ winery by Escape Magazine.

Growing fruit, making wine, and sharing it with customers all on one site brings with it many challenges and long days, in the end they love the role and will keep slowly paving our path.
