Beethoven Triple Concerto & Schubert Symphony 1 (expired event)

Beethoven's Triple Concerto is one of his most glorious compositions.

The "Triple" is also a rarity as a concerto for a trio (violin, cello and piano) with orchestra. The Triple Concerto is intimate yet grand and above all most beautiful featuring Rebecca Glorie (violin), Melinda Forsythe (cello) and Tommaso Pollio (piano) as soloists.

Schubert composed his Symphony 1 when at age 16 and it clearly shows the promise of the master of most beautiful melodies. It is disarmingly charming, exuberant and uplifting, entirely positive.

With the fabulous John Keene as conductor this promises to be a highlight of your 2024 concert season.
