From October 1 to 6, the Perth Cultural Centre will burst into vibrant life with our BLOOM into the Cultural Centre program! Join us during the second week of the spring school holidays for a week full of free, interactive art and culture experiences for all ages.
Everlasting Flower Making Workshop
Dive into the art of crafting realistic paper daisies with expert artisans from Jotterbook Flowers. Using premium tools and materials, participants will learn step-by-step techniques to create beautiful, everlasting blooms. This workshop promises a relaxing and creative experience.
Nature’s Creative Corner: Kids’ Workshops
Engage your children in fun, nature-themed workshops designed by a qualified teacher and permaculturalist. These hands-on activities, using recycled materials and aligned with the Western Australian curriculum, include:
Seed Saving & Origami Workshop: Learn the art of saving seeds and crafting origami packets.
Edible Cupcake Flower Decoration: Decorate pre-baked vanilla cupcakes with seasonal edible flowers. Allergen information will be clearly displayed.
Flower Printing: Create beautiful prints on calico fabric.
Face Painting by a Flower Fairy: End the workshop with magical face painting.
