Description
The Bondi to Manly Walk is an 80-kilometre track that links all the existing coastal and harbor-side walking tracks between Australia’s two most famous surf beaches, Bondi Beach and Manly Beach, passing through some of Sydney's most iconic places.
The walk is entirely on public land, with the vast majority of its length on existing, well-made, and well-maintained bushwalking tracks.
The Bondi to Manly Walk offers visitors a chance to explore Australia's rich coastal landscapes and tourist attractions. The walk passes by four of Australia's most iconic places: Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Bondi Beach, and Manly Beach. The trail also has many sites of Aboriginal heritage, historic sites, art galleries, and museums, cafes and restaurants, and 47 more beaches along its length.
The Bondi to Manly walk is a year-round attraction, and visitors could experience the trail's unique beauty at any time of the year. Summer months (November to February) could be too hot for the hike, so it's best to avoid visiting during this time.
To start the Bondi to Manly Walk, head to Bondi or Manly Beach, and follow the signs, or use the mapping available owing to the rail infrastructure along the route. Visitors can take a train from Bondi Junction or Circular Quay to either Bondi or Manly, respectively. Another option is to take a bus to either Bondi or Manly, which drops visitors close to both beaches.
