Located in Boorook, the Boonoo Boonoo Falls Walking Track is an excellent and easy bushwalking trail for visitors.

The track offers scenic views of the Boonoo Boonoo Gorge and takes you through an array of different wildlife habitats and plant communities.

Walking along this track is an opportunity to notice various wildlife habitats and plant communities in the area. You can explore rainforest, dry eucalypt forest and grassy woodland alongside the track. You will have a chance to appreciate the colourful flowers of the boronia, banksia, and grevillea that brighten the bushland. Keep your eyes peeled for the threatened brush-tailed rock wallaby that calls this granite landscape its home.

At the end of this track, hikers are rewarded with the breathtaking view of Boonoo Boonoo Falls. According to legend, it is the spot where Banjo Paterson proposed to Alice Walker. You can enjoy the pounding waterfall sounds as you take in the magnificent view from the viewing platform. The experience is only enhanced by imagining Banjo and Alice's story as you take in the stunning scenery.
