The accommodation is a bold, angular statement with an imaginative dwelling and an inspiring aesthetic. Oikos evokes the red center of this great southern land – its dramatic, sculptural form both complementing and disappearing into the rugged precipice on which it stands. Oikos is a short-stay retreat that offers an indulgent experience for nature, architecture, and romance lovers. The accommodation is 70 m² in area and was built in 2018 by Robert Nichol and Sons. The interior features Brodware, Fisher & Paykel, Volker Haug, Artedomus, Boyd Alternatives, Claypave, Corten, Designer Doorware, and Mafi. The builder of Oikos is Nick Andrew, and the engineer is Meyer Consulting. The façade is constructed by Total Comfort Plumbing.
