Description
The Broome Courthouse Markets are held in the beautiful Heritage listed gardens of the Broome Courthouse.
Started over 25 years ago by a small group of locals wishing to trade local product, they have grown to become a major tourist attraction in Broome and host up to 115 creative stalls over the Dry Season. Trading every Saturday all year and Sunday from April – October, the local markets attracts visitors from far and wide.
Regular local stalls sell photography products, plants, jewellry, books, local mango products, fresh bread, clothing and more. We are blessed to have talented and artisitc visiting stallholders who bring additional vibrancy to the market with products like hand crafted resin bowls, clothing made from unusual materials, hand blown glass and more.
A large range of food vendors including Indonesian, Filipino, Chinese, Indian, Thai, hamburgers, crepes, gourmet coffee, fresh donuts and more are a huge attraction and no Broome Saturday morning is complete without indulging in a fresh donut, a coffee and one of the amazing Lumpia (Filipino spring rolls).
