Bruny Island Guided Walks

Tours

2/670 Lighthouse Rd, South Bruny, TAS 7150

Description

As we start our walking holiday in Hobart, we take in the breathtaking views of 'kunanyi', Tasmania’s beloved mountain, and the D’Entrecasteaux Channel across to Bruny Island.

After a relaxed breakfast at Harbour Lights Café, we board the Sealink ferry to Kettering and make our way to Bruny Island.

The next morning, we explore the wonders of Mars Bluff, Cape Queen Elizabeth, and the Rock Arch. If the tide is low, we can take the track down to the beach, passing through heathlands and eucalypt woodlands. As we make our way south, we take in the stunning scenery, getting glimpses of the trails we will explore over the next few days.

Finally, we arrive at our 850 acre sanctuary with boutique nature lodge. Inside, we settle in and relax with a selection of Tasmanian wine and cheese, getting to know the group. Our guide prepares a delicious dinner in-house from the best locally sourced produce.
