Description
In contrast to the vast stretches of sandy beach in the rest of the park Cape Keraudren features rocky shores, seagrass meadows, narrow sandy beaches, tidal creeks and mangrove-lined muddy bays.
Cape Keraudren, in the south-west of the park, is an area of high cultural significance to the Ngarla Traditional Owners, and includes an area of reef with diverse coral and sponge gardens, and seaweed and seagrass beds.
The adjacent Shire-managed Cape Keraudren Coastal Reserve has campsites, toilets, rubbish bins and an on-site ranger (vehicle entry and camping fees apply).
