Description

Explore the park’s wild reaches on the Le Grand Coastal Trail, which links many of the park’s most spectacular coastal sections.

The Cape Le Grand Coastal Trail extends from Le Grand Beach to Rossiter Bay via Hellfire Bay, Thistle Cove and Lucky Bay.

For the experienced walker it provides a one-day hike over 15km of alternating rocky headlands, coastal heath and sandy beaches. Alternatively break the trail into four shorter sections. With the exception of beach sections the path is marked by rock cairns, wooden pegs and pruned vegetation.

Total Distance: 15km (one way). Allow 8-9 hours
Le Grand Beach to Hellfire Bay: Time: Allow 3 hours (one way). Class: 5 Difficult

Hellfire Bay to Thistle Cove: Time: Allow 2-3 hours (one way). Class: 5 Difficult

Thistle Cove to Lucky Bay: Time: Allow 1 hour (one way). Class: 3 Moderately easy

Lucky Bay to Rossiter Bay: Time: Allow 2-3 hours (one way). Class: 4 Moderately difficult
