Carnac Island

Tourist attractions

Description

Carnac Island is a picturesque island situated off the coast of Perth between the larger Rottnest and Garden Islands. It is visited by Australian sea-lions and flocks of various sea birds but is also inhabited by a population of deadly tiger snakes.

Visitors to Carnac are asked, for safety and for dune protection, not to go ashore. Please keep a safe distance from any sea-lions on the beach or in the water.
