Carrie The Musical is a haunting musical adaptation of Stephen King’s “Carrie” performed by WAAPA’s second year musical theatre students.

Carrie The Musical puts a dark spin on the typically uplifting nature of musical theatre performances and showcases the depth of talent at WAAPA. Contemporary themes of bullying, religion and family violence combine with music by Michael Gore and lyrics by Dean Pitchford in an emotional display. Due to demand, a matinee and second evening performance has been added.
