Located just off the main highway in Cloncurry, the Cloncurry Mary Kathleen Memorial Park Complex is a convenient and family-friendly stopover for travelers.

The park offers various amenities, including ample parking spaces for cars, caravans, and motorhomes. Visitors can enjoy the shaded picnic/barbecue area and the playground for kids.

One of the main attractions of the park complex is the free outdoor display, showcasing historic mining, rail, and farm equipment. Notable items include a unique 1941 Ford V8 Rail Ambulance and other relics that highlight the region's rich history.

Visitors are encouraged to take a 10-minute walk up the lookout, passing a unique water feature, to enjoy a panoramic view of Cloncurry and its rugged landscape. This provides an excellent opportunity to stretch your legs and take in the scenery.

The Cloncurry Mary Kathleen Memorial Park Complex also houses the Cloncurry Unearthed Visitor Information Centre and Museum. The museum displays the history of the town and region, including the stories of Mary Kathleen and the mines that sustained the local economy.

The former Visitor Information Centre building has a unique history of its own. Originally the Oona Police Station, it was later moved to Dobbyn and then to Mary Kathleen. After the mine shut down and the town was dismantled, it was relocated to its current site and used as the Visitor Information Centre until 2013. The Cloncurry Mary Kathleen Memorial Park Complex is easily accessible, located just off the main highway with visible signs directing visitors to the park.
