The natural boat ramp located on the southern end of the beach provides the perfect opportunity for visitors to launch their boats or kayaks and explore the bay, which is home to various marine species such as dolphins, seals, and whales (June to November).
Collingwood Beach can be visited during all seasons of the year. The beach can be quite busy during these months, so visitors should arrive early to secure a prime spot.
Collingwood Beach is located in Vincentia, Jervis Bay, approximately 2.5 hours south of Sydney by car. Visitors can take the Princes Highway (M1) south towards Nowra and then follow the signs towards Jervis Bay. Elizabeth Drive in Vincentia provides several access points to the beach. Visitors can park their vehicles on the road, and there are no parking fees. The beach is also accessible by public transport, with several bus routes operating in the area.
