Description
Coronation Beach Geraldton is a premier windsurfing destination located 28 kilometers north of Geraldton along the North West Coastal Highway.
It is considered one of the most attractive and popular beaches along the Mid West Coast.
Windsurfing is the main activity at Coronation Beach, with many considering it the finest windsurfing location in the world. The prevailing summer sea breezes create ideal conditions for windsurfing. Outside of the windsurfing season, the beach is popular with older visitors.
The Coronation Beach nature-based park offers limited facilities, including clean sheltered campsites, picnic shelters, pit toilets, and a shower cubicle. Campers are required to bring their own supplies as there is no water or power available. Dogs are allowed on a leash.
There is a caretaker onsite to assist campers, and camp fees apply with no booking required.
To get to Coronation Beach, take the marked turnoff located approximately 28 kilometers north of Geraldton along the North West Coastal Highway. The 8-kilometer road to the campsite is sealed for easy access.
