Description
Corrobinnie Hill Conservation Park is a unique nature reserve located in South Australia's Eyre Peninsula, approximately 24 kilometers west of Kyancutta.
Proclaimed in 1983 under the state's National Parks and Wildlife Act, the park is known for its eye-catching Corrobinnie Hill, which features unusually shaped and weathered granite rocks. Covering an area of 2.08 square kilometers, the park is classified as an IUCN Category III protected area and is managed together with the Pinkawillinie Conservation Park. Access to the park is limited to four-wheel-drive vehicles via the "Number 17 Stock Route," and visitors are advised to drive with caution. The park's popularity stems from the presence of Corrobinnie Hill, making it a must-visit attraction. The surrounding land was dedicated as part of the Pinkawillinie Conservation Reserve in 1993 and later added to the Pinkawillinie Conservation Park in 2002. Visitors to Corrobinnie Hill Conservation Park can explore its natural beauty and unique geological formations, making it an unforgettable adventure.
