Description

Currumbin Beach is a stunning location in the Gold Coast city of Queensland, Australia. It is known as Queensland's cleanest beach and is part of the World Surfing Reserve. The beach stretches from Elephant Rock lookout and Currumbin Vikings Surf Club in the north to Currumbin Rock (The Rock) in the south.

It is a popular destination year-round due to its beautiful surf.

Visitors to Currumbin Beach can enjoy a variety of activities. The beach is patrolled by the Currumbin Beach Life Saving Club, which has a long history dating back to 1919. Swimming, surfing, kayaking, kite surfing, and stand-up paddleboarding are all popular activities. The protected area of Currumbin Creek known as The Alley offers consistent and world-class waves, making it a great spot for intermediate and advanced surfers. Beginners can also find easier waves inside The Alley to practice on. Surf lessons are available at Currumbin Alley Surf School and other providers in the area.

Currumbin Alley, along with Tallebudgera Creek, is a family-friendly destination. The estuary's shallow waters and rock pools are perfect for kids to play in, and the calm water is ideal for kayaking, kite surfing, and stand-up paddleboarding. SUP and paddle boards can be rented at The Boat Shed beside Thrower Drive Bridge. Fishing is also popular from the rocks or beach, and small watercraft can access the ocean from Currumbin Beach.

Currumbin Beach is a year-round destination, with summer being the best time for swimming and water activities newline.
