Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm produces some of the world's most beautiful pearls, including the world's largest fine quality round pearl. With retail locations in Chinatown, Broome, at our pearl farm on the Dampier Peninsula and online, you can now buy genuine Broome pearls direct from our family owned and operated farm with the help of our expert staff.

We specialise in loose pearls and strands, and also offer locally manufactured jewellery, including designs unique to Cygnet Bay Pearls.

Pearl Farm Patrol

Join us to learn about the fascinating process of culturing pearls and find out how this family owned pearl farm has produced some of the finest pearls in the world. Hop on board our renovated pearling vessel to see the pearling fleet at work and take in the beautiful beaches and bays. Daily departures during peak season.

Sunset Sail

A relaxing sail on board our 40ft catamaran Escapade, followed by a delicious BBQ dinner is the perfect way to round off a day at Cygnet Bay. Take in the Kimberley colours as they come to life in the fading afternoon light. Daily departures during peak season.

Thousand Island Tour

This half day scenic boat tour will take you through some of the most splendid scenery the Kimberley has to offer – the Buccaneer Archipelago. We are accompanied on board by a local cultural guide. Available twice a week during peak season, by request at other times (subject to minimum numbers). Tour includes lunch, please bring towel, bathers and closed toe shoes.

Licensed al fresco restaurant...

The popular cafe has expanded to include full breakfast, lunch and evening menus. Cygnet Bay Bistro is licensed, so you can also enjoy a cold beer or refreshing glass of wine with your meal. Try a delicious Cygnet Bay Pearl Meat tasting plate, and choose from the wide selection on the lunch and dinner menus. Relax in the alfresco dining area, enjoying the sea breeze during the day and the spectacular Kimberley moon and stars in the evening.

Accommodation in safari tents and pearlers cottages...

Accommodation is provided in eight safari tents with en suite bathrooms. All tents have verandas with outside settings, and a fully equipped shared camp kitchen and outside BBQ area is nearby. Three historic pearlers cottages have also been renovated to provide rustic cabin style accommodation with the comfort of air-conditioned bedrooms and self-contained living areas.

Located just under 1km from our farm village and reception area, our accommodation is in a tranquil location close to beaches and bushwalks, and with easy access to our restaurant, gallery and tours.

Family Safari Tent

Suitable for families of up to four, our family safari tents are furnished with a queen and bunk beds, and have an en suite bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. Linen and towels are supplied, and our guests have access to a shared fully equipped kitchen and BBQ area.

Bayview Safari Tent

With views across the water, our bayview tents are suitable for 1 or 2 people in king or twin beds, and have an en suite bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. Linen and towels are supplied, and our guests have access to a shared fully equipped kitchen and BBQ area.

Rainforest Safari Tent

Set amongst the shade of our remnant rainforest, these tents are suitable for 1 or 2 people in king or twin beds, and have an en suite bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. Linen and towels are supplied, and our guests have access to a shared fully equipped kitchen and BBQ area.

Divers Quarters

Originally built to accommodate the lugger crew who worked on Cygnet Bay, Divers Quarters now provides comfortable accommodation for families and large groups of up to 10 people. Divers Quarters has five air-conditioned bedrooms with a spacious kitchen and living area, bathroom with toilet and shower, and a large outdoor area.

Stone House

Stone House accommodates up to 4 people in 2 air-conditioned bedrooms, and has full kitchen facilities. There is a short stroll to the toilet and shower (not shared). Stone House, with its shaded yard and barbeque area is located metres away from the beautiful tidal creek and mangroves.

Skippers Cottage

With one air-conditioned bedroom, Skippers Cottage is the perfect escape for a couples break, or for friends looking for a relaxing getaway. Skippers Cottage has one air-conditioned bedroom, living area, kitchen facilities and a bathroom with toilet and shower.

Getting here...

Cygnet Bay is easily accessible from Broome by road or air. For a self drive break, hire a 4WD to explore the Dampier Peninsula. Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm is on the Cape Leveque Road just 15km from Kooljaman at Cape Leveque. The first 90km of the Cape Leveque Road is unsealed, and the remainder of the road is sealed.

Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm also has its own airstrip and welcome arrivals by private aircraft or charter.

For a day trip from Broome, 4WD bus tours of the Dampier Peninsula depart Broome daily during peak season – ask for a tour including a visit to Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm. Scenic Flights also depart daily from Broome and offer the chance to see the Horizontal Waterfalls and the spectacular Kimberley Coast from the air, combined with breakfast or lunch and a tour of the pearl farm – and of course the opportunity to buy a genuine Broome pearl direct from the farm!
