Fairlight Beach in Manly NSW 2095 is an 80m long beach, south-facing, and nestled in a beautiful pocket of coarse sand.
It is a serene place with a small rock pool occupying its eastern end. The beach is backed by a narrow grassy foreshore reserve and the coastal walk.
Fairlight Beach is an unpatrolled beach, which provides its visitors with a sense of solitude and privacy. It is a perfect spot in Manly for picnics, snorkeling, scuba diving, and calm swimming activities. With its small rock pool occupying the eastern end, visitors can swim in the pool, sunbathe on the sandy beach or even explore the rocky outcrops. Fairlight Beach is around 20 minutes walk from Ayres Rock, along Manly Scenic Walkway. Visitors can take the Sydney Ferry service to Manly Wharf and then walk along the Manly Scenic Walkway, which is well signposted, and takes visitors on a beautiful journey through the bush, along the coast and past some fantastic views out to sea.
