Flaxmere Garden is a stunning garden located in Masons Flat, New Zealand.

The altitude is 330 meters above sea level, and the trees and plants have to be able to withstand the extreme conditions of hot dry summers and very cold winters. The garden is designed to be attractive at least twice a year, with spring flowers and wonderful autumn colors. Evergreen trees and shrubs provide interest and bones of the garden in the winter. There are also wide ranges of native plants that will withstand the conditions.
Flaxmere Garden is a garden of international significance and has been given a rating of 6 stars by the NZ Garden Trust. The garden has formal and informal areas, extensive areas of New Zealand native plants, woodlands, roses, rhododendrons, and water features.
