Fossil Cliffs is a travel destination located on the north of Maria Island, Tasmania, Australia.

Visitors can also take a leisurely walk along the Fossil Cliffs Circuit, a 4.5 km loop that offers sweeping views of the island's rocky shoreline, low-lying sand dunes, and distant hills. The track is easy/moderate, and it takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. In addition to enjoying nature walks, visitors can also hire a bike to explore most popular spots on Maria Island, including Fossil Cliffs, Reservoir, and Painted Cliffs. Visitors can spot a variety of fauna on the island, including wombats, wallabies, kangaroos, Tasmanian devils, and pademelons.
Visitors can take a ferry to Maria Island from Triabunna, which is approximately 85 km from Hobart, Tasmania. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes. The Maria Island ferry operates daily except on Christmas Day. Passengers can hire bikes upon arrival, which is ideal for exploring the Island's popular spots, including Fossil Cliffs
