Description
Fosters Beach Mornington is a hidden gem located between Craigie Beach and Linley Point on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria.
This west-facing beach is shaped like an arc and offers unique rock formations, deep waters close inshore, and stunning views. The beach is dog-friendly and leash-free year-round. While not suitable for bathing due to its rocky main beach area, visitors can enjoy activities such as walking and exploring the rocky coast dominated by sandstone bluffs. The best time to visit is during the summer months when temperatures average around 25 degrees Celsius. Access to the beach is via the Fossil Beach walking track, but visitors should be aware of limited off-street parking and the steep and unstable cliffs near the beach newline.
