Don’t miss out on Perth’s premier Christmas Carols – the IGA Carols by Candlelight for Variety – returning to the picturesque Langley Park on Sunday 17 December
Come sing along to your favourite Christmas carols as Variety - the Children’s Charity of WA host this magical, family-friendly event overlooking the Swan River.
For the second year running the IGA Carols by Candlelight for Variety will be a FREE event – giving all WA families the chance to attend Perth’s most spectacular Carols event.
Food stalls and kids activities such as face painting will kick off at 3pm and a Peppa Pig show will start at 4.30pm, giving families plenty of time to settle in. Plus, thanks to the generosity of Thrifty WA who are a new major sponsor of Variety, there will be a Ferris wheel and teacup ride plus fairy floss and popcorn for the littlies to enjoy.
When the sun goes down the stage will be illuminated with a carols spectacular hosted by Channel Nine’s Louise Momber and Michael Thomson and headlined by Australian Idol contestant and platinum selling artist Damien Leith. Other special guests will include Harrison Craig, Georgia Caceres (Channel 9’s The Block), Susie Mathers, Chris and Courtney Murphy, Yasmin Kassim and the Variety Youth Choir.
The backdrop of the Swan will be lit up with a fireworks spectacular finale, going off with a bang at 9pm
