Gigi's on George

This venue on trendy George Street is a stylish eatery, promising simple, tasty fare that food connoisseurs will love.

Famous for its quaint buildings that house down-to-earth eateries and fashion boutiques, George Street in East Fremantle is recognised as one of the area’s most cosmopolitan streets. Opening in August 2009, Gigi’s on George is one of its latest restaurant additions. Set in a refurbished house, the restaurant is welcoming, with eye-catching pieces of furniture which give it a warm, rustic feel.

The function area is the ideal setting for wedding receptions and corporate events, and even has a dance floor. If you are planning a larger event, it is possible to book the entire restaurant exclusively – the venue as a whole can accommodate up to 80 people seated, or 100 people cocktail-style. 

Wholesome, southern European food with a modern twist is the focus at Gigi’s, and head chef Ricky Lim has created an exquisite menu. Dishes are simple but beautifully presented and packed full of flavour. Event hosts can choose from set or a la carte menus, or tapas plates.

A selection of boutique beers and wines are available, plus you can choose from a variety of less common cocktails.
While Gigi’s cuisine and service is chic and stylish, it all comes without pretence. The staff is friendly and courteous, and their attention to detail is spot-on.
