Description

This beautiful studio/gallery in Nannup is well worth checking out. Artists Heather and Will create beautiful kiln formed glass art and impressive garden sculptures. Open Festivals and by appointment.

Heather Elliott-Smith and William Elliott are accomplished glass and sculpture artists who relocated to Nannup in 2023. They previously showcased their artworks at their beautiful studio in the Ferguson Valley. Their award- winning glass art, and sculptural works, often incorporate metal, timber and a range of other mediums.

Heather's career as an art teacher exposed her to extensive experience in a range of art mediums. After doing a course in kiln-formed glass in 2005, her passion for the medium has burgeoned. Her works include functional items, ornaments and exquisite sculptures and centrepieces that are architectural and highlight the qualities of glass. She manipulates glass to highlight colour and form to create spectacular works. Recycled clear glass is salvaged and reutilised in sculptural works.

William's background as an engineer and sculptor included successful solo sculpture exhibitions in USA. His impressive sculptures combine his strong design understanding with his woodworking and metal skills. These works, often incorporating glass and grace the gardens at their Nannup studio and can be seen in situ. Their studio is situated in Nannup and is open for Nannup Festivals, events and Art Trails and they are happy to open their gallery on request.
