Göz City started over ten years ago as a humble gözleme hut at the South Melbourne Market under their sister brand Köy, and quickly turned into an idea to create a modern, fast-casual dining experience that pays homage to the traditional Turkish dish. The restaurant offers both meat and veggie gözleme flatbreads, as well as soups. There are four core varieties of gözleme available: cheese and spinach, lamb, chicken, and mushroom. The menu is made-to-order, ensuring that each dish is fresh and hot. The space is bright, airy, and open, with seats available for eat-in diners. Behind the ornately mosaicked counter is a commercial-sized kitchen where the chefs prepare the dishes.
