Located in the beautiful Hilltops Region just four kilometres out of Young, Grove Estate has quietly built an international following for their award winning wines
Young is in the heart of the Hilltops. The Hilltops has become one the greatest wine grape growing regions in Australia over the past 20 years. In the last 5 years wines from the Hilltops including grapes from the Grove Estate vineyards have won such prestigious awards as the “Jimmy Watson” trophy in 2010, and as recently as 2014 the Finest Shiraz in Australia in the great Australian Shiraz Tasting.
Grove Estate’s 35 Hectares of vineyards make up just part of the Grove Estate story. The Kirkwood’s, Flanders and Mullany’s (The Partners of Grove Estate) also own another 55 Hectares of vineyards that supply the Grove Estate label. Mark and Vickie Flanders have vineyard adjoining Grove Estate on the Murringo Road. Peter and Suzanne Kirkwood have Shiraz less then a Kilometre from Grove Estate and Brian and Suellen Mullany have Cabernet, Barbera and Sangiovese in the same area. Brian and Suellen along with Michelle and Vince Fernon (Brian’s sister and brother in law) have another 30 hectares around 10 kilometres from Grove Estate towards the small village of Wombat
