Description
Discover respected local winemaker James Kellie’s range of site-expressive Great Southern wines, made at his Denmark winery, rated as ‘Outstanding’ by James Halliday for 14 consecutive years.
Established in Denmark in 1988, Harewood Estate is operated by ex-Howard Park winemaker James Kellie and his family, who purchased the property in 2003. James scours the Great Southern, finding extraordinary parcels of fruit from low-yielding vines that showcase the diversity of the wine region to make into site-expressive wines.
Fruit comes from Denmark (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon), Frankland River (Shiraz), Mount Barker (Riesling) and the Porongurups (Riesling and Cabernet Sauvignon). The wide range of small batch, varietal wines reflect the unique fruit of each of these premier wine growing environments.
Harewood Wines has received an Outstanding 5 Red Star Halliday rating for 10 consecutive years. The wines have won a tonne of trophies at shows around Australia.
