Description
Hays Inlet is a saltwater inlet located in Moreton Bay Region, Queensland, Australia.
It is known for its unique shape that forms the south-western Redcliffe suburb of Clontarf and the suburbs of Mango Hill and Griffin. The inlet flows into Saltwater Creek at Rothwell, which carries the city boundary along it.
South of Hays Inlet is Pine River that flows into Bramble Bay. The inlet is home to a lush mangrove forest that accentuates the beauty of the place. Visitors should check with local authorities before swimming or undertaking any water activities in Hays Inlet.
Hays Inlet is a must-visit destination for nature lovers who want to experience the unique ecosystem of saltwater inlets and mangrove forests.
