To get to Horton Falls National Park Barraba, visitors should take the Fossickers Way to Barraba, then turn into Road 104 and continue for about 12km. From there, take the turn-off to Horton Falls and drive an additional 10km. The campsite and picnic area are well-signposted.

The rustic Horton Falls campground and picnic area offer basic amenities such as picnic tables, barbecue facilities, and toilets. There are only 2 campsites available, so advanced booking is necessary. Campsites are unmarked, and there are no fees for camping, but a booking fee of $6 applies.

Visitors should bring their own drinking water, fuel stove, ice, torch, food supplies, first aid kit, insect repellent, and sunscreen. The park offers various activities, including a short stroll to Horton Falls lookout, where visitors can see the waterfall cascade into the valley below. There is also a swimming hole upstream of the main falls, accessible by a scenic walking track. Visitors can enjoy cooking on the barbecues at the campsite and observe colorful birds in the surrounding bush.
