Description

Share our collection of vintage tractors (over 60) and machinery (over 60) with people from all over the world. Most of our collection of tractors and machinery have been restored to excellent working condition, after having served the farming community in the state of Western Australia from the early 1900's.

This was a Dream of the founder Mr. Hugh Manning, who was an avid collector of Agricultural Machinery and Tractors and who had been collecting since the 1960's. It was in February of 2004 that Hugh passed away.

He and his many friends got together and with sponsorship from Alcoa of Australia and the Serpentine/Jarrahdale Shire, land was made available in Wellard Street.

It was at this time the army of volunteers jumped in - site works, sand carting, landscaping, steam cleaning and restoration got started and so it came to be on September 18th, 1993.

"The Dream became the Reality and will continue growing today and into the future".

In 1994, the Museum won the Australia Day Award for 'Community Event of the Year'.

We are very pleased and proud that our efforts have been recognised.
