Institute of Modern Art (IMA)

Since 1975, the Institute of Modern Art has been at the center of Brisbane's contemporary art scene, presenting an annual program of exhibitions, public programmes, publications and external programs by artists from Queensland, Australia and beyond. Located in the Judith Wright Arts Center in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley, IMA offers cutting-edge contemporary art and a regular program of events including artist talks, workshops, screenings, performances and more.
