Description
Take a journey to Ipswich Nature Centre, located in the iconic Queens Park, and be amazed by the abundant wildlife that call this area home.
A gold coin donation is requested as an entry fee to help with the maintenance of the animals. From the beautifully constructed rotunda, built in 1891, you can wander along the shady walkways and observe the fascinating native animals such as wombats, wallabies, emus, quolls and a nocturnal bilby exhibit. The rainforest bird aviary is alive with colour and sound, and kids will love the barn, where they can meet calves, lambs, pigs and guinea pigs. Open six days a week, come and explore the incredible wildlife of Ipswich Nature Centre.
