Description

Appreciate the beauty of the karri forest as you drive through this park between Northcliffe and the South Western Highway.

Jane National Park spans 6570 hectares of forest with approximately three-quarters classed as ‘old growth’. Some individual trees found in this park are thought to be more than 300 years old and the area is home to a large diversity of plants and animals. Jane Forest was named in 1946 by Pemberton forester-in-charge John D’Espessis, who named the area after his young daughter Jane.
