Juno Gin is a family-owned gin distillery called Begin Distilling, located in Westown, New Plymouth, New Zealand.

What you can see and do
Visitors are offered the opportunity to take a full tour of the distillery and participate in gin tastings. The tours offer a glimpse into the unique distillation process employed by the distillery, which combines traditional techniques with modern technologies. Visitors can witness the entire production process from distillation, blending, and bottling to the final result. When you should go
Begin Distilling offers distillery tours and tastings all year round. However, as New Plymouth enjoys mild temperatures in summer, it is an ideal time of year to visit the distillery and explore the surrounding areas while enjoying some of the locally produced Juno Gin. The distillery is open from 10 am to 4 pm, Monday to Saturday.
How to get there
Begin Distilling is located in the Westown neighbourhood of New Plymouth, which is only a 15-minute drive from the city centre. If driving, visitors should head toward the west of the city and take either Hobson Street or Saint Aubyn Street to reach the distillery. Alternatively, visitors can also take advantage of public transport options such as buses and trains to reach the distillery; the closest train station is New Plymouth Station located in the city centre.
