There are also options to climb up using a rope on the left side of the waterfall or access a slippery secondary platform from the right. The difficulty of access is rated as 7/10, with caution advised due to steepness and potential slipperiness.

The best time to visit Kellys Falls is during the summer months, especially on weekends. While swimming is possible year-round, the swimming hole can get crowded during peak periods. Nearby Helensburgh offers picnic tables in the car park, but no other facilities. There are options for dining and grabbing a bite in Helensburgh, as well as accommodation options.
