Lake Leake is a quiet and peaceful place located 36 km from Mt Gambier on the north side of the Glencoe West township.

It is an ideal spot for those wishing to relax and unwind in a tranquil setting. Fishing is a popular activity in the lake, and visitors can explore the area by taking a stroll in the nearby forested areas, taking a dip in the lake, birdwatching, or simply enjoying a picnic amidst the serene surroundings.

Visitors can enjoy Lake Leake throughout the year, although the best time to visit is during the warmer months, particularly from November to March. For those traveling from the north or south, the easiest route is usually via Mount Gambier. From Mount Gambier, turn off onto the Riddoch Highway and travel towards Millicent. Keep an eye out for the signs to Glencoe and then for Ghost Mushroom Lane. Take a left at Ghost Mushroom Lane, then travel another 4km along the gravel road, and you will find Lake Leake newline.
