Lake Marma in Murtoa, Victoria, Australia is a popular relaxation spot that offers picturesque views, birdlife, fishing, walking tracks, a small beach, manicured park lawns, and benches for visitors to sit on while enjoying the magnificent views.

Originally a small natural swamp, it became incorporated into the Wimmera Mallee water supply system over a century ago and until recently it was the source of Murtoa's drinking water.

The best things to see and do in Lake Marma include walking around the lake on the well-made, basically level 2km walking track, fishing, and enjoying the picturesque views of sunrise and sunset. Visitors can also relax on the small beach, sit on the benches, and enjoy the birdlife that is present. Victoria's Lake Marma is a perfect spot for photography enthusiasts and nature lovers. There is a small powered site caravan park, reserve, and swimming pool located beside the lake.

The best time to visit Lake Marma is during the summer months of December to February when the weather is warm and sunny. Visitors can drive to Murtoa, which is situated around the lake, a small town of some 1000 people on the Wimmera Highway, 31 km north-east of Horsham, 282 km north-west of Melbourne, and 430 km south-east of Adelaide. Visitors can also take a train to Murtoa from Melbourne or Adelaide.
