Located just a short drive from Sydney's city centre, the park offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun. Enjoy a picnic in one of the many picnic areas, complete with tables, barbecues, play equipment, and flat grassy areas. You can also take a leisurely stroll along the Heritage Walk, hire a boat from the Lane Cove Boatshed, or go birdwatching. If you're feeling adventurous, you can even take a bike ride along the fire trail between Pennant Hills and West Pymble.
