Description
The Maidens Hotel is located in Menindee, New South Wales and is reputed to be the second oldest hotel still in continuous operation in NSW.
It was first opened in 1853 by Tom Pain and his family, who built the Menindee Hotel. Now known as the Maiden's Menindee Hotel, it was owned by the Maiden family from 1896 to 1979. Recently, the hotel burnt down and was rebuilt. The hotel offers air-conditioned rooms that provide exceptional comfort and convenience. It also has an on-site restaurant that serves a variety of cuisine and drinks, including a selection of beers, wines, and spirits. The Maidens Hotel is a historical building that has been a place for Menindee locals to have a yarn and escape their daily stresses over a cold beer for almost 170 years. Despite undergoing renovations and being rebuilt, it still retains its historical charm.
