Ten years ago, leading landscape architect Paul Bangay was called upon to design this magnificent garden, which is located on the Brookland Valley Vineyard Estate on Caves Road and surrounded by a peppermint forest and Wilyabrup Brook.

He created not only a visual spectacle, but also a venue that is private and secluded for the bride and groom who wish for an intimate gathering.
Guests at Margaret River’s Secret Garden are treated to white wedding chairs and parasols, while the bridal party is offered day use of the ?Iris garden guest house to prepare for the big event in luxury, comfort and relaxation.

Depending on the season, you will find a series of garden rooms enhanced by a crab apple and rose lined walkway, blossoming irises and hydrangeas leading to a beautiful courtyard, the central feature of which is a lily pond surrounded by wisteria-clad pillars.

The beautiful garden offers countless photo opportunities for your wedding album while guests can have a wonder around the alluring garden.

The Event: Margaret River’s Secret Garden is an elegant venue ideal for your wedding ceremony, photos and celebratory drinks and canapes afterwards.

The Location: Designed by one of Australia’s leading landscape architects, Paul Bangay, Margaret River’s Secret Garden is located in a peppermint forest on the banks of Wilyabrup Brook.

The Facilities: As well as two acres of immaculate gardens for your ceremony, the wedding package includes a signing table with drapes, 50 white wedding chairs and parasols, seating for musicians and a table for drinks. The bridal party can also use (on application) the Iris garden guest house to prepare themselves for the special day.

The Numbers: The venue caters for weddings of all sizes, from two to 200 guests.
