Marne Valley Conservation Park

Marne Valley Conservation Park is a protected region located in South Australia's locality of Cambrai, about 77 kilometres (48 mi) northwest of Adelaide. It covers an area of 94 hectares (230 acres) and is situated in section 4 of the Hundred of Angas, within the Marne River Valley.

The park was proclaimed on March 11, 1976, under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972, and is classified as an IUCN Category III protected area. It was also enlisted in the now-defunct Register of the National Estate in 1980.

The conservation park contains two seasonal swamps near the river bed, as well as adjoining areas of higher ground. These areas showcase a magnificent example of an Eucalyptus camaldulensis open forest over a closed grassland understorey. One swamp has dense young E. camaldulensis growth along its edges. In the higher grounds, the understorey is dominated by Myoporum platycarpum, grasses, and low shrubs, with low woodland of Eucalyptus largiflorens regrowth. Marne Valley Conservation Park is an important site for preserving the E. camaldulensis open forest in the seasonal swamps of the Marne River Valley. It also serves as an excellent example of this type of forest, along with the adjoining areas of higher grounds.
