Mcclellands Lookout Paluma is a popular out-and-back trail located near Crystal Creek in Queensland.

The 0.3 km route is generally considered easy and takes an average of 5 minutes to complete. The trail begins from a small dirt carpark off of Mount Spec Road near Paluma Village. From the carpark, the trail follows the McClellands Lookout Track to the lookout. The lookout is only 150m stroll from the carpark, making it accessible for all fitness levels. Once you reach the lookout, you'll be rewarded with stunning views out towards the coast and over Paluma Range National Park. The panoramic view from McClellands Lookout Paluma is breathtaking and not to be missed! Mcclellands Lookout Paluma is a year-round destination. Visitors are reminded not to bring their furry friends as dogs are not allowed in the trail. Mcclellands Lookout Paluma is a family-friendly and wheelchair-accessible trail perfect for those who want to take in the beauty of Paluma Range National Park without exerting themselves too much. To get to Mcclellands Lookout Paluma, take the A1 highway north from Townsville for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Turn off onto the Mount Spec Road and drive for about 17 kilometers to reach the small dirt carpark where the trail begins.
