Michael's journey began in Switzerland as an expert at Sotheby's and took him to work with some of Australia's most renowned producers, including Giaconda in Beechworth, Coldstream Hills in the Yarra and Cullens in Margaret River. In 2005, Michael ventured to Burgundy to work with Domaine Leflaive, one of the greatest white producers of them all. This experience was followed by vintages in France with Méo-Camuzet, Vieux Télégraphe and Trévallon, before finally settling in the Barossa Valley.
