Located just south of Bermagui, Michael Lerner Lookout is an excellent spot to capture some fantastic, panoramic views of the rugged coastline.

This hidden gem is not very well-known, but definitely worth a visit. The lookout is named after Michael Lerner, a wealthy American philanthropist, and his wife Helen, who visited the area in 1939 to fish for Marlin. A visit to the lookout will give you an opportunity to learn about their incredible fishing adventures and enjoy magnificent views of the surrounding landscape.

The lookout provides breathtaking views of Bermagui and the South coast. As you explore this lookout, you'll be amazed by the incredible vistas that await you. Take in sweeping views of the ocean, the rugged coastline, and the beautiful natural surroundings. There is a small track leading to a seat and an unpacked viewing area. Additionally, there is an information board about Michael Lerner and his wife, which provides insight into their fascinating lives and incredible fishing adventures.

The lookout is open all year round, and there is no entry fee. The lookout can get crowded during peak tourist season, so plan to visit early in the day to avoid the crowds.
