To reach Moochalabra Dam, a one-hour drive west of Kununurra will take you to Wyndham. After passing Moochalabra Creek crossing, a turn-off will appear, and following this road for 23 kilometers will lead you to the dam. Along the way, you can enjoy the lush greenery and observe birdlife around the waterholes on the King River, just 20 kilometers away from the dam turnoff.

The dam has a unique construction that creates a stunning waterfall during the wet season when overflow passes through the rock on the crest of the hill.
