Mount Buangor State Park is a 2400-hectare park located in the Bayindeen region 60 kilometres west of Ballarat, Victoria.

The park offers a diverse natural environment, including eucalypt forests, creek flats, steep escarpments, and the highest peak in the area, Mount Buangor. Visitors can explore the park's picturesque landscape and unwind.

The park features a 15-kilometre network of walking trails that wind through eucalypt forests, creek flats, and steep escarpments. Visitors will encounter various eucalypt trees, such as Yarra gums, manna gums, blue gums, messmates, narrow-leaved peppermint gums, snow gums, and red stringybarks, as well as large tree ferns. The park is also home to over 130 bird species, including the gang-gang cockatoo and wedge-tailed eagle. Indigenous fauna, such as echidnas, eastern grey kangaroos, wallabies, possums, gliders, and bats, can also be found, along with introduced deer.

The park has cultural significance, as it was once inhabited by the Beeripmo Balug clan of the Djab Wurrung tribe. The highest peak in the park, formerly known as Flagstaff Hill, was visited by explorer Thomas Mitchell in the 1830s. Sawmills were also present in the area during the 19th century.
